Of course you want to know about me right? After all, what are my credentials? Other than making great food, how do you know that I know anything about what I’m saying?
Well rest assured good reader. I will tell you just a smidge about myself.
I’m actually a professional Chef! Wooow! Cool right? I work in a restaurant making menu items and testing new dishes all the time. I graduated from the Culinary Institute or Virginia a few years back with an associates degree in applied culinary arts. Top of my class and a winner in a couple cooking competitions to boot. And I know this makes me very humble sounding but it’s hard to not sound like I’m bragging on the base of that.
The true fact is, I’m still learning every day. There is so much knowledge of food out there that every day I cook I feel like I’m being taught something that never even would have crossed my mind. Even most of the recipes I’ll be posting here have gone through numerous trials to be something delicious.
But I don’t just cook in a restaurant. I also like to cook on my spare time. Honestly even the creation of this blog site is because I’d like to push myself even further to continue to improve my skills. And if I can share some of those skills with someone else, then why not right?
This page is very much so under construction, but hopefully in the future I’ll have some way to get questions and comments, and I’ll even probably expand on who I am. But for now that’s what I’ll leave you all with. I do hope you will enjoy!
